White House Chief of Staff John Kelly closed out a rare press briefing appearance on Thursday with a moving tribute to U.S. military members who volunteer to serve their country.
At the end of the press conference, Kelly waved away questions to share a few parting remarks.
“Thank you very much. As I walk off the stage, understand there’s tens of thousands of American kids mostly are doing the nations bidding all around the world,” Kelly said.
Kelly explained to the press corps that service members enlist out of love for the country.
