A huge fire has broken out at Barcelona Airport as smoke has been pictured towering over runways.
According to media reports, the fire has broken out at a warehouse nearby but that has yet to be confirmed.
Video from the scene shows large pillars of thick black smoke blowing over a fence, heading toward the Barcelona-El Prat Airport building.
Pictures show the fire was extinguished shortly after it broke out in an industrial area known as Zona Franca.
