The Russian attorney at the center of the hyped-up scandal with Donald Trump Jr. was pictured seated behind an Obama administration ambassador mere days after she met with the son of the president.
The lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya, was pictured right behind former ambassador to Russia, Michael McFaul, during a Foreign Affairs Committee hearing on Russia five days after she met with the president’s son, discovered by a CNN reporter.
CNN reporter Michael Weiss tweeted the picture on Tuesday, but he incorrectly dated the photo June 14, 2014 ( it is CNN, after all).
