NBC tweeted about it, but refused to retweet it claiming what was said was ‘unconfirmed’. How are ‘fears’ that that’s what was unconfirmed?

The reason is they just wanted to make it appear he was tweeting something unreasonable.

These are the same folks that go wall to wall coverage over information from anonymous sources.
