Jake Tapper thinks it’s at least partially the media’s fault that the public doesn’t trust them.
“Some of the distrust of the media is the media’s fault,” Tapper said while taking part in a panel at the National Press Club on Friday. “There have been a number of scandals in the past decade where people in the media were not telling the truth.”
Tapper added that he thought the media’s election coverage relied too heavily on polling numbers.
