Did you know that there was such a thing as a ‘symbolic arrest’?

If you follow protests, you might know it.

What it means, generally in leftist protests, there are people often designated to get arrested to draw more attention to whatever is being protested.

However, I’ve never seen something like this in writing with police being toadies, asking the protesters what will be their pleasure.

“Do you want symbolic arrests? If so, where and when?”

It goes without saying that this compliant “may we help you, leftists” department is the Berkeley Police Department, the same folks who stood down during antifa attacks on pro-Trump supporters over the weekend, and who didn’t stop the subsequent brawls.
