This despite this, Micah Grimes posted this, in response 7 hours ago letting them know that that was a false story.

The false tweet is still up and there has been no later tweet explaining the truth.
And if you look at the original Politico video, you may notice there’s an edit. Right as Trump reaches for the hat, but before he takes it. Then you see him signing it.
Why would that be? To disconnect, to make it harder to recognize that the boy who handed it to him was the same boy.
They really aren’t even trying to mask the bias…
