North Korean Ambassador to the UN Kim In Ryong [ed. note: He is deputy UN representative] says the United States has created a situation in which “thermonuclear war may break out at any moment.”
“[North Korea] is ready to react to any mode of war desired by the U.S.,” he said during a press conference in New York City, Monday.
The remarks come as Vice President Mike Pence traveled to South Korea Monday, saying the “era of strategic patience is over.”
