President Trump “zeros out” climate change and MSM goes nuts. Sounds like a win-win.
Let the freak out begin. MSNBC and CNN on Tuesday went nuclear over Donald Trump’s move to roll back Barack Obama’s “signature” climate policies, whining that the President is “destroying” and “obliterating” the Democrat’s efforts. The CNN graphics department went into overdrive with one biased description reading, “Trump Signs Order Dismantling Obama Climate Record.”
That apparently wasn’t enough because a few minutes later it was changed to this: “Trump takes Hammer to Obama Climate Record.” On MSNBC, Kate Snow fretted that Trump signed “a sweeping new executive order just signed this afternoon instructs the Environmental Protection Agency to review one of President Obama’s legacy-defining policies.”
Legacy-defining? Wasn’t that supposed to be Obama Care? Back on CNN, Brooke Baldwin parroted the Democrat talking point that global warming was supposed to be an untouched accomplishment for the Democrat:“When I think of President Obama, of course you think of his signature piece being ObamaCare. Right around there is climate, what he did with climate change, Paris accords.
MSNBC’s Hallie Jackson decided that “obliterates” is a “better word” for what Trump is doing to Obama’s climate legacy. Apparently that wasn’t hyperbolic enough, because she added that the Republican is “destroying what President Obama, former President Obama had built up on climate.”
Snow parroted the Democrats, excitedly repeating: “One Democrat today called it an act of war against renewable energy and the science of climate change.”
