If he acted alone and there is no evidence to suggest there are others, why were 7 people picked up in connection with this attack since it happened yesterday?

“British-born” is interesting terminology. That seems to suggest there are things about him that would suggest he wasn’t British – perhaps his name or that “Asian” background that the media reported.
