Diamond Reynolds, the woman wh0 famously live-streamed the controversial fatal police shooting of Philando Castile, has been arrested in connection with a vicious attack that left another woman with serious injuries.

Reynolds, Dyamond Richardson, and Chnika Blair were apprehended Thursday in St. Paul, Minnesota, after allegedly attacking a woman with a hammer Tuesday night, and leaving the scene in a silver truck.

The three women are now in the Ramsay County jail, awaiting likely charges of felony assault.

Reynolds gained global attention after her boyfriend, restaurant worker Philando Castile, was shot during a routine traffic stop, also in Ramsey County, near Minneapolis.[…]

Reynolds told the media late last year that that she believed Yanez would not have been charged had she not turned on her Facebook Live application. She also said that since the shooting, she has not been able to find stable employment because too many people recognized her from the viral video.

Ramsey County, where the three women were taken into custody, has asked a neighboring county, Washington, to take hammer attack case and handle any charges, over concerns that Reynolds’s arrest could cause a conflict of interest.
