Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe released transcripts and audio on Thursday of conversations between CNN employees allegedly pushing biased viewpoints.
CNNLeaks.com, a site created by Project Veritas, claimed an anonymous source within CNN leaked audio of the conversations. The audio reveals CNN employees discussing haphazard reporting of poll numbers, insulting Fox News, and claiming the “primary role of a journalist” is to “aid the afflicted and afflict the comfortable.”
The anonymous source, “Miss X,” worked inside CNN’s headquarters in Atlanta and secretly recorded the audio in 2009, according to Project Veritas.
O’Keefe said he offered $10,000 “for content which exposes media malfeasance” and Miss X came forward with 119 hours of audio. He claimed there are more than 100 hours “yet to be released in a WikiLeaks style dump.”
