Looks like a great partnership.

Via Daily Mail:

An Indiana conservation officer got some puppy love from his K9 while they posed for a portrait together. Heartwarming photographs show K9 Kenobi lick and nuzzle Indiana Conservation Officer Levi Knach. The Facebook page for Indiana State Parks posted the images on Thursday.

It said in the post: ‘Indiana Conservation Officer Levi Knach and his K-9 partner Kenobi show some puppy love in their portrait “attempt.”

‘Officer Knach works in DNR Law Enforcement District 2.

‘Kenobi is cute, but make no mistake – he is a trained, working officer and can track people and locate a variety of objects ranging from venison to ginseng.

‘We are grateful for the work that our ICOs do all over the state to protect and serve people and to conserve our fish and wildlife resources.’

DNR Corporal Rodney Clear told The Dodo: ‘[Officer Knach] and Kenobi constantly train for the unfortunate situations of locating missing persons, locating evidence from criminal activity, and detecting illegally taken wildlife.

‘He is a true example of a leader and servant.’ Other photos show Knach and the dog together in situations.

Two photographs posted last month by Indiana DNR Law District 2 on Facebook show Knach sitting in front of a computer – with Kenobi on Knach’s lap.
