Startling video released by police shows the moment a Corrections Officer is gunned down while sitting in her car in Brooklyn Sunday night.
Alastasia Bryan, 25, was fatally shot by an individual who is seen walking up to her vehicle and firing several rounds through the window.
The suspect then jumped into a dark-colored Honda Civic and sped away.
The off-duty rookie officer was parked at Avenue L and East 73rd Street in Flatlands at around 9:15 p.m. when the shooting occurred. Bryan was struck in the head and torso, killing her instantly.
