They were supposed to be destroyed, but copies of Newsweek featuring a beaming Hillary Clinton under the headline “Madam President” are being hawked online for as much as $10,000.

The magazine produced copies of both a Clinton cover and one with President-elect -Donald Trump ahead of the election. But, according to CNN, only the Clinton versions of the commemorative special editions actually went to press ahead of Election Day.

Topix Media Lab, which produced the $10.99 special edition mags under the Newsweek brand, “made a business decision to print the Clinton version ahead of time given that she is almost universally favored to win the election” according to CNN. The cable network reported earlier this month, “If Trump wins, the Clinton copies will be trashed and the Trump version will be rushed to the printing presses — a simple business calculation.”

“Like everybody else, we got it wrong,” Tony Romando, Topix Media’s CEO, told The New York Post. The executive said that 17 “Madam President” Clinton magazines, out of the 125,000 that were printed and shipped to retailers, were sold before being pulled from store shelves. But a search for the magazine on eBay yields more than 400 results.
