An 11-year-old girl is delighted to be reunited with her pet puppy Rex after ‘supervet’ Professor Noel Fitzpatrick fitted him with a bionic leg.
Nicole, from Leigh On Sea, was given the Staffordshire Bull Terrier by her mother, Altnay, after passing her 11-plus – but the family grew concerned when he was ‘reluctant to walk’.
When he did take steps, he seemed to be in pain and often limped.
