Here’s Arizona too:
Media is astonished because they believe or at least want to push the Democratic mantra that concern about illegal aliens is ‘anti-Hispanic’ and racist. They failed to give Hispanics enough credit to be able to distinguish between illegal and legal. They failed to understand that Hispanics who went through the effort to come legally, some waiting years, might be disturbed by people who would skip that process and break the law. They failed to understand that just like any other Americans they would be upset with people who break the law or cause drug increases in the community, as the many illegal aliens connected to cartels have.
This was the apocalypse where Hispanics would come out in droves to change the equation permanently, locking the GOP out of the White House once and forever. But it didn’t happen.
