Nothing, not even Mother Nature, could stop Sosha Adelstein from casting her vote in this historic presidential election.
Adelstein, who was expected to give birth to her child on Election Day, went into labor four days early but made sure she cast her vote before heading to the hospital.
Adelstein made a pit stop along the way to childbirth, and went to the Boulder County Clerk and Recorder’s Office to drop off her ballot, CNN reports.
“We ran over there and kind of made it just in time, because like shortly after that I was like, ‘OK, it’s time. We got to get to the hospital,'” Adelstein said, according to CNN.
