Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore told CNN anchor Jake Tapper on Monday that many of Donald Trump’s supporters are “racists” and “rednecks.”
Tapper previewed his interview with Moore with a couple clips from Moore’s new movie, Michael Moore in TrumpLand, in which he criticizes Trump and his campaign.
“Trump’s election is going to be the biggest ‘fuck you’ ever recorded in human history and it will feel good for a day. Eh, maybe a week. Possibly a month,” Moore said in the first clip.
“And when the rightfully angry people of Ohio and Michigan and Pennsylvania and Wisconsin find out after a few months in office that President Trump wasn’t going to do a damn thing for them, it’ll be too late to do anything about it,” Moore said in the second clip.
