Surveillance video shows a hotel employee taking a handgun away from a robber during an attempted robbery Thursday morning in Warren.
The incident happened at about 5:45 a.m. at the Victory Suites.
Police sources say an armed woman demanded money from the hotel clerk and a struggle ensued. The clerk and the woman were rolling on the ground and the woman dropped the gun. The clerk kicked the gun away and a shot was fired.
The hotel clerk suffered minor injuries.
