If you had a headache and you were having a heart attack, which would you treat first? The continual killings of and by young black men in Chicago and elsewhere are responsible for 95% of black murders. Police are responsible for under 1%.
Via Chicago Tribune:
Five people were killed and at least 35 others were wounded in weekend shootings in Chicago, bringing the total number of people shot so far this year to at least 3,366 — 981 more than this time last year.
The weekend’s youngest victim was a 13-year-old boy who was shot Friday night as he walked with a group through a vacant lot in West Englewood, police said. He was listed in good condition.
The oldest was a 68-year-old man shot not far away in Englewood early Saturday between a viaduct and a row of houses, police said. He was hit in the hip and his condition was stabilized.
Four people were shot within six blocks of each other over one hour Sunday night.
