With the Republican Party in chaos, President Obama on Monday opted for the calm, serene surroundings of a golf course.
Obama is hitting the links at Andrews Air Force Base with Marvin Nicholson and Mike Brush, two White House aides who are frequent golf partners of the president.
He’s spending time outdoors after Sunday night’s tumultuous presidential debate between Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and Republican nominee Donald Trump, which was marked by personal attacks over sexually aggressive comments made by Trump, which were exposed in 2005 footage first released by The Washington Post. Those comments resulted in a wave of Republican calls for the billionaire to step down from the Republican ticket.
