Storms can be serious things and everyone should exercise proper caution. That said, being foolishly careless about them or overly apocalyptic are equally stupid.

If you don’t listen to Fox News anchor Shepard Smith, you will die.
Smith reported Thursday on Hurricane Matthew and the potential danger it poses to residents in the storm’s path.
“This storm will kill you. It will kill your children. It will kill your pets and everyone you know who wants to mess with it,” Smith said.
He repeated this warning and told people to evacuate.
