Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton announced Friday that she will be traveling to Charlotte this Sunday.

No details have been released about when or why Clinton is coming to the Queen City, but earlier in the day she did call for the release of police video involving the fatal shooting of 43-year-old Keith Lamont Scott by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police officer Brentley Vinson.

“Charlotte should release police video of the Keith Lamont Scott shooting without delay,” Clinton tweeted at 2:42 p.m. Friday. “We must ensure justice & work to bridge divides.”

Other NC leaders, including Charlotte Mayor Jennifer Roberts and gubernatorial candidate Roy Cooper have also called for the videos to be released.

The North Carolina GOP also issued a statement in response to Clinton calling for the videos to be released.

“Governor McCrory has stated and shown that politics has no place in the delicate consideration of the public release of evidence,” a statement from NCGOP Chairman Robin Hayes read. “Hillary Clinton and Roy Cooper should follow his example.”
