The television show South Park debuted a new trailer Monday for its upcoming season featuring the animated characters singing a mock national anthem, poking fun at supporters of backup NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s recent protests of the Star Spangled Banner.

The trailer was released on Twitter, coinciding with the San Fransisco 49ers game on Monday night in which Kaepernick sat on the bench as starting quarterback Blaine Gabbert led the team to a 28-0 win over the Los Angeles Rams.

The South Park characters were shown singing these lyrics:

Colin Kaepernick is great. / Cops are pigs, cops are pigs. / Wait, someone just took my stuff

I need to call the cops. / Oh, no, I just said cops are pigs. / Who’s gonna help me get my stuff?

Why did I listen to Colin Kaepernick, / He’s not even any good. / Oh, I just got all my stuff back

Cops are pigs again, cops are pigs. / Colin Kaepernick’s a good backup …

The tweet includes a not so subtle jab at Kaepernick by asking viewers to not “sit this one out!”
