Reports still sketchy at this point but someone or more than one person appears to have rushed the stage during the judging portion of Dancing with The Stars when the judges were commenting on the dance of Cheryl Burke and Ryan Lochte.

You may recall that Lochte was turned into the ‘ugly American’ by Brazil with the willing participation of some in media in the U.S., accused, wrongfully so, of trashing a bathroom and lying about being robbed by security while in Rio during the Olympics. But Lochte’s story proved to be substantially true, while the Brazilians story proved to be mostly false.

Lochte was painted as the ‘white privilege’ boy trying to blame poor Brazilians for his bad behavior.

At least one person who rushed the stage wore a shirt that said ‘No Lochte’.

This is what stoking a media narrative against this man can create, and I guarantee not one person in media will take responsibility for their role in putting a target on him.

Fortunately the security was able to stop them.

Two men have been arrested for trespassing.

There was a group in the audience who all were wearing ‘No Lochte’ shirts, the two guys arrested were part of that group.
