Via ABC:

One person is dead after shooting a student at Alpine High School in Brewster County, Texas, this morning.

The preliminary information indicates that a female student shot another female student in a bathroom and may have then taken her own life, a law enforcement source told ABC News.

The shooter died from what appeared to be self-inflicted wounds, Brewster County Sheriff Ronny Dodson told ABC News.

The other student is still alive, Dodson said.

An officer was apparently shot as well in what appears to be an accidental shooting, he added.

Police are also investigating a bomb threat at nearby Sul Ross State University.
