A few hours after speaking at the New Hampshire AFL-CIO annual breakfast on Labor Day morning, Sen. Bernie Sanders will campaign for Hillary Clinton in the Upper Valley, WMUR.com has learned.

Sanders will appear on Sept. 5 at a Clinton campaign organizing event at Lebanon High School, with doors opening at 2 p.m. The event is open to the public.

“Sanders will discuss Hillary Clinton’s plan to building an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top, and Donald Trump’s plan, which would benefit himself and other millionaires and billionaires,” the Clinton campaign said.

The Clinton campaign has been working with Sanders to solidify support for Hillary Clinton among Sanders supporters as the race between the former secretary of state and Republican Donald Trump heats up in the Granite State and nationally.

Sanders defeated Clinton in the New Hampshire Primary, but then formally endorsed Clinton at a rally in Portsmouth in July.
