NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — There are reports of shots fired at JFK International Airport.

The FDNY said a call came in at 9:38 p.m. for reports of shots fired at JFK Airport.

JAMAICA, Queens (WABC) — The NYPD Confirms that Port Authority has requested NYPD assistance at JFK Airport for an incident.

Reports came in of ‘shots fired’, but Port Authority Police says so far there has been no confirmation of a perpetrator, and no confirmed shooting. It is still unknown if any shots were fired at this point.

American Airlines Termina 8 is being evacuated entirely – both secure side and street side.
