Debbie Wasserman Schultz probably thought she was all clear. Her resignation was tendered, the damage against the Sanders campaign done, and the presidential nomination in the books for Team Hillary.
Wasserman Schultz had ridden off into the sunset, “honorary” chair of the Clinton campaign, nothing left for her to do but ensure that Hillary Clinton becomes the next President of the United States.
