A St Louis reporter who sparked outrage after he posted a sick ‘lead diet’ joke about Michael Brown’s mother and her son’s shooting death on Facebook, has been fired.
KTVI spokeswoman, Suzie Mahe, said she was unable to comment on personnel matters, but she confirmed that ‘Bobby Hughes no longer works here; he’s no longer an employee of KTVI’, according to the St Louis Post-Dispatch.
Hughes, a photographer and reporter at Fox 2 News, posted the joke on July 22 about Lezley McSpadden, Brown’s mother, being invited to the Democratic National Convention, according to the St Louis American reported.
