All is not well.
Via Daily Mail:
Bernie Sanders will not formally nominate Hillary Clinton for president, in a gesture he will not offer that might otherwise have been another signal of unity and reconciliation for still-seething Bernie backers.
‘He will not nominate her, Sanders spokesman Michael Briggs told DailyMail.com
Briggs said others would nominate Clinton, which would then lead to a role call vote. He said it was ‘possible’ Sanders’ home state of Vermont could move to make the vote unanimous after it has occurred.
Sanders said Tuesday his delegates should treat party officials with ‘respect’ during a roll call vote today to determine the Democratic nominee – but they should be allowed to give him their support if they want to.
‘Vote for me,’ he told them this morning.
The talks about whether Sanders, who urged Clinton’s election in a convention speech monday night, would take on an additional unifying role, have been going on for weeks.
