In his new book, Lt. General Michael Flynn, former head of the U.S. Defence Intelligence Agency, writes that the computers of Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL) jihadis seized by the U.S. were filled with pornography.
“We looked a ruthless enemy in the eye — women and children, girls and boys, raped and exploited, the beheadings stored on a laptop next to pornography,” writes Flynn in The Field of Fight: How We Can Win the Global War Against Radical Islam and Its Allies.
The book, which was released on Tuesday, is being serialized by the German newspaper Bild. “At one point,” writes Flynn, “we actually had determined that the material on the laptops was up to 80 per cent pornography.”
