No joke.
Via Mediaite:
As we reported back in December, students at Oberlin College are calling ‘cultural appropriation’ in their school’s dining halls. They believe that the versions of Asian dishes that are served at the school are cheap imitations of what they should be, and thus offensive to the cultures they purport to represent. Students have complained to the school about the issue, and now one of their famous alums is speaking out about it.
In a recent interview with Dunham expressed her support for the offended undergrads at the Ohio liberal arts school. “The press reported it as, ‘How crazy are Oberlin kids?'” Dunham said. “But to me, it was actually, ‘Right on.'”
