Showing his true colors?

A Metro police officer has been decommissioned over a social media post.
Police confirmed Officer Christopher Taylor was decommissioned after he posted a Black Panthers picture as his Facebook profile picture.
Taylor was an 11-year veteran with the department assigned to the West Precinct.
Taylor has acknowledged the photo had been on his personal Facebook page, saying the image is associated with his strong historical interests. He said he regularly changes photos on his personal page.
Taylor said he also posts bits of historical information, especially during Black History Month.
The Office of Professional Accountability is conducting the full investigation of the complaint.
