A polling station was forced to close after a man was stabbed and collapsed in a bloody heap directly outside it.
Police swarmed the area after receiving reports that a man had been attacked just after 5pm this afternoon.
The attack happened outside a polling station in Waverley Road, Huddersfield.
The Huddersfield Examiner report the polling station was closed for a time, but has since reopened.
