What if the main reason he chose Pulse was because he was most familiar with it, knew it would be packed and gun-free? He also cased Disney, not exactly a ‘gay target’, but definitely more security.

If the Orlando killer was solely motivated by hatred for gays and lesbians, he did not say so in a conversation with authorities the night of the massacre.

Attorney General Loretta Lynch has announced that a partial transcript of the killer’s dialogue with authorities from the night of the bloodbath will be released later today.

But that conversation does not include any mention of the LGBT community, Lynch said in an interview with CBS’s “Face the Nation.”

“But obviously we know that he apparently had some concerns or issues with the LGBT community,” Lynch added.

“[T]his is a community that is often targeted by acts of hate. And so we’re very concerned about that issue as well.”

Forty-nine people were murdered when Omar Mateen attacked Pulse, the gay nightclub in Orlando.
