Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) on Friday visited Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign headquarters in Brooklyn amid speculation that she could be a vice presidential pick, according to media reports.
“Don’t screw this up,” she joked to a crowd of Clinton staffers.
CNN reported that Clinton, the presumptive Democratic nominee, was not present during Warren’s visit.
Warren was already traveling through New York for fundraising meetings of her own, the news outlet added.
The Boston Globe reported that Warren specifically discussed protecting ObamaCare and the Dodd-Frank financial reform law during her stop.
Warren also talked about filling the Supreme Court vacancy, the newspaper said.
ABC News said Clinton staffers quickly deleted photos and videos documenting Warren’s trip after they began appearing on social media.
