This is the horrifying moment a jihadist for the so-called Islamic State executed his own brother after he was accused of trying to defect the extremist group.

The 15-minute footage shows a man named as Abu Abdallah carrying out the punishment.

The terror group is said to be in the midst of a major crackdown on spies operating inside the vast swathes of territory it controls in Iraq.

Abdallah has accused his brother of being a “spy for the US coalition.”
