Barack Obama said Democrats are thrilled that Donald Trump is the presumptive nominee for the Republican Party.
During an interview with Jimmy Fallon that airs Thursday night, the president said his party was “happy.”
“Has Donald Trump called you for advice, or talked to you at all? You’ve given him some pretty good advice if he has,” Fallon said.
“No, he hasn’t,” Obama said. “Not that I know of.”
“Do you think Republicans are happy with their choice?”
“We are,” Obama joked.
