Several people were wounded in a suspect terrorist shooting Wednesday night in central Tel Aviv’s Sarona complex, according to initial reports.

According to Channel 10, one suspected terrorist was shot near the scene and another other was apprehended. According to footage from the scene, an armed civilian shot at one of the suspected perpetrators.

Magen David Adom paramedics were treating nine wounded people, of them one was in life-threatening condition, two were in serious condition and six were being treated in various conditions. At least seven wounded people were evacuated to the nearby Ichilov Medical Center.

An eyewitness named Ofer told Army Radio that a flock of people fled the area during the incident and chaos ensued.

A large contingency of police officers were at the scene as the incident continued to develop.
