During the Houston shooting, the police reported there was a second suspect, because they found another man with a gun other than the shooter, Dionisio Garza III. Turns out, it wasn’t a ‘second suspect’, it was a ‘good guy with a gun’, Byron Wilson, pictured above with his family, who pulled out his gun to try to save others.
Unfortunately, Wilson was shot and critically wounded and is in the hospital. Byron was hit three times, in both legs and his shoulder. He’s had several surgeries and blood transfusions.
His mother when interviewed said he faces more surgeries in order to be able to walk again.
There is attention paid to the shooter, unfortunately not always to the people who stand and try to do the right thing. So here’s to the efforts of Byron Wilson.
