The doors at the Rimrock Auto Arena at MetraPark in Billings will open for the Donald Trump campaign event on Thursday three hours before the Republican candidate for president is scheduled to speak.
Trump is scheduled to speak at 4 p.m. The arena doors will open for the public at 1 p.m., and seating is first-come, first-served.
A designated protest area will be set up in the MetraPark motorcycle parking area.
Trump is scheduled to arrive shortly before the event in Billings after attending an oil industry conference in Bismarck, North Dakota. He is expected to depart Billings shortly after the event concludes.[…]
Traffic and parking at Rimrock Auto Arena will be intense Thursday afternoon when Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump speaks in Billings. Doors for the event open to the public at 1pm. A capacity crowd is expected.
“If you are planning to use Main Street or Bench Boulevard between 4 and 6pm Thursday afternoon, expect to have significant delays,” said MetraPark General Manager Bill Dutcher. “The combination of 10,000 plus people coming and going from Rimrock Auto Arena and normal after work traffic on Main Street will cause a jam.”
