No wreckage or debris of missing EgyptAir flight MS804 has been found despite an earlier confirmation by EgyptAir in a press release.
The statement had read that EgyptAir had received a letter from Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs saying that the missing aircraft was discovered near the Greek Karpathos island. However, this statement was later retracted.
