A Georgia woman caught on surveillance video taking on two armed carjackers has a message for her attackers: “I forgive them.”
Jasmine Warren fought back against two men who attacked her and tried to steal her car at a gas station in Atlanta around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday. The two punch and drag Warren while struggling to drive off with her vehicle in an incident caught on surveillance video.
“This young man came up to me with a gun in my face, and in that very instant, I knew I wanted to do something about it,” Warren told NBC affiliate WXIA. “I wasn’t going to let him try to take my stuff from me.”
Warren said the assailants were young and afraid.
“They were just as scared as I was. When I looked at that little boy’s eyes he was just as scared as me,” she told WXIA. “Honestly he was fumbling. It was a lot.”
