That’s the best she can do?
Via The Hill:
Hillary Clinton is trying her hand at nicknames.
The Democratic presidential candidate on Friday christened Donald Trump the GOP’s “presumptuous nominee” — an attempt at turning the tables on the man who’s used derisive nicknames to tear down opponents left and right.
“Their presumptive nominee, otherwise called their presumptuous nominee,” Clinton said at a campaign event in Oakland, according to ABC News.
She made the attack as she said Trump “has made it really clear he basically said wages are too high in America. And that’s why he doesn’t think we need to raise the minimum wage. And I gotta tell you I ask myself all the time, who he is talking to?”
Clinton said her dedication to stopping Trump has nothing to do with her own campaign.
“Even if I weren’t running for president I would be doing everything I could to make sure that the presumptive nominee of the Republican Party never gets near the White House,” she said.
Clinton said Trump doesn’t “think much of women” and has “reckless” plans on foreign policy and immigration.
Trump has used nicknames to denigrate opponents throughout the campaign.
He recently added “crooked Hillary” to a list of nicknames that already included “lyin’ Ted” Cruz, “little Marco” Rubio, “low-energy Jeb” Bush and “1-for-38 Kasich.”
