Will Hillary feel the Bern and go for the votes with Bernie as her running mate?
Bernie Sanders said that “of course” the Democratic nomination process is stacked against him, but he didn’t rule out joining the ticket with Hillary Clinton if he loses.
“Well right now, we are focused in the next five weeks [on] winning the Democratic nomination,” he told CNN Friday evening when asked if he would be interested in being Clinton’s vice president. “If that does not happen, we will fight as hard as we can on the floor of the Democratic convention to make sure we have a progressive platform that the American people will support.”
He added, “And then after that certainly Secretary Clinton and I can sit down and talk and see where we go from there.”
