Doesn’t take much to offend a Satanist. Update to this previous story.
Former Speaker of the House John Boehner declared Senator Ted Cruz “Lucifer in the flesh” this week during an interview at Stanford.
His remark has the Satanists upset. They disavow Cruz 100%.
Lucien Greaves, spokesman of The Satanic Temple,was appalled:
“Cruz’s failures of reason, compassion, decency, and humanity are products of his Christian pandering, if not an actual Christian faith,” Greaves said.
He condemned ‘pedophile priests’ and ‘loathsome politicians’ and declared Cruz one of the worst.
“I think he is a real disaster,” The Satanist Temple spokesman said. “I think he is possibly one of the worst. I think we have been on a race to the bottom for a long time now, and you keep thinking it can’t get worse and people would wise up after a clown like [Sarah] Palin or George Bush. But then you see people lining up around Ted Cruz.”
He doesn’t like Boehner either. He called Boehner ‘simple-minded’ for associating Cruz with Satanists just because Boehner doesn’t like him.
