An Upstate business is taking a stand while lawmakers and others are duking it out over a transgender bathroom ban in North Carolina.

Ray Harrison is part owner of Carolina Carpet and Flooring in Easley.

A sign in front of the business makes his stand really clear, and he doesn’t fear backlash to his business.

“A lot of public people are afraid of it. But the fact is, right and wrong is printed right in front of us and if somebody doesn’t stand for it then we’re going to be in trouble,” Harrison said.

He said it’s not the first time they have used a Scripture-inspired message on the business sign.
