She was married to the most dangerous terrorist in the world — but claims she never realized her husband was the leader of ISIS.
The ex-wife of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi called the terrorist kingpin a bit brusque, but an otherwise “normal family man” — who would oddly disappear for days on end.
In an interview with the Swedish newspaper Expressen, Saja al-Dulaimi said she believed her husband was a university lecturer who named Hisham Mohammad.
“He was a normal family man,” she said. “How he could become emir of the most dangerous terrorist organization in the world is a mystery.”
The woman said her first husband died fighting for an Iraqi resistance group, leaving her alone to raise young twin
boys.
